Modern Therapy with a
Human Connection
I know what it feels like to carry the invisible load: showing up for everyone, holding it all together, and wondering if there’s ever time to just be.
That’s why I created Maple Mindset; a cozy, judgment-free space for millennial women to explore their inner world, feel emotionally supported, and reconnect with who they truly are.
Hi, I'm Danielle (she/her)
Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, Reiki Practitioner, and a real human behind Maple Mindset

Before I was a therapist, I was a bedside nurse in the ICU and outpatient clinics. I spent years supporting people through some of life’s most tender and transformative moments. And in between holding it together for others, I started to notice how often I was quietly unraveling myself.
Burnout, people-pleasing, self-doubt, perfectionism, I’ve lived through the patterns so many of us carry. It wasn’t until I slowed down, got support, and began to listen inward that I found my way back to myself.
That experience changed everything. And now, I offer the kind of care I once needed: grounded, human therapy with room to feel, reflect, and gently rebuild.

What It’s Like to Sit Across From Me
Therapy with me might include tears, laughter, quiet pauses, or moments of celebration. I’ll hold space for the heaviness you carry, but also reflect back your growth, your resilience, and the parts of you that are still dreaming.

This work isn’t linear, and it doesn’t need to be perfect. Some days you’ll arrive with clarity, other days with chaos. Either way, you’ll be met with compassion, curiosity, and zero pressure to have it all figured out.
I’m here to walk with you through the hard stuff, help you reconnect with your inner wisdom, and celebrate the small (and not-so-small) wins along the way.
Ready to come hang out in the attic?
Pull up a cozy chair, sink into the pillows, and let the plants keep us company.
This isn’t cold, clinical therapy. It’s real, warm, and made for you to feel at home. Even on the hard days, you might just laugh, cry, and leave feeling a little more like yourself.

Behind the Therapist Chair
When I’m not in session, I’m usually cooking something cozy, drinking coffee from my favourite mug, or watching movies with my family. I love a good playlist, quiet garden moments, and the kind of nights that end with puzzles or board games. Laughter is medicine and finding simple joys is healing.

Real talk: I believe healing should feel human and so should your therapist.
